Bashar’s ‘Excitement Formula’ is a simple method for finding fulfilment, joy and meaning, and bringing abundance into your life.
Who is Bashar?
Bashar is a future-based interdimensional being who has been channelled by a medium, Darryl Anka, for almost 40 years. Whether you believe this is possible or true doesn’t matter; what matters is that his messages make intuitive sense, are fascinating, and have huge potential to improve your life and raise the consciousness of all of humanity (or at least for those who choose to be open-minded).
Bashar’s messages encompass a wide range of topics, including but not limited to self-development, healing, parallel universes, history of the universe(s), transformation, abundance, consciousness, ETs and UFOs, and more.
On the topic of abundance, Bashar is clear that every human has the innate ability to manifest whatever they desire, as long as what they desire is in tune with their true soul purpose. In fact, he has a simple 5 step method, which he calls ‘The Formula’ or ‘Your Excitement Formula’, and which simplifies using the Law of Attraction for your benefit.
There are so many gurus, experts, teachers and experimentalists offering guidance on how to best use the Law of Attraction for successful manifestation. But Bashar’s 5 Step Formula breaks it down and makes it so much easier (as long as you have a clear perception of your purpose).
Here is Your Excitement Formula:
Step One: Do what your heart desires, act on your passions and what excites you, preferably in the moment, or as often as you can.
I imagine Bashar is talking here about more significant activities which benefit your life, rather than just eating chocolate or going on holiday, because your passions and the things that excite you will lead you to discovering your true purpose.
Let’s look at an example. Alice has always been fascinated with creative activities, and while she did well with subjects like Art, Design and Dressmaking at school, she never pursued these and instead went to work as an administrator, which she’s been doing for years. She has recently learnt to crochet and does this occasionally as a hobby, but often brushes off compliments, believing she’s not very good at it.
Nevertheless, when she’s honest with herself, she’d love to be more creative and possibly even earn money from the things she makes. If Alice could find a way to spend more time on developing her creativity and eventually making a living from it so she could do it full time, she would not only feel more fulfilled and excited, but she would be helping others to see that it’s possible.
Step Two: Do activities involving your passions and what excites you well, to the best of your ability, without compromise.
Immerse yourself in them, as much as possible, and do them until you run out of ideas or feel you need some new inspiration, then do something else for a while (in many cases, even if the ‘something else’ is random and unrelated, inspiration for your passions will pop up from these unrelated activities and inspire you to get back to your passions with even more zest).
Step Three: Follow your heart’s desire with these activities with no expectation of understanding what the outcome will be.
In other words, do them because you love doing them, and let go of any need to do them in order to manipulate some end result.
I assume Bashar means that you shouldn’t focus on the long-term end result, but focusing on shorter objectives for each project is necessary and okay.
For example, you might be very mechanically-minded and decide to build something because you love making things with your hands, and you will have a design and product in mind which you’ll work on to bring into existence. But you need to work on these types of projects for the love of it, and not for some ulterior motive, like wanting to make millions from them, or because you think you’ll get a sponsorship or job offer.
Step Four: Even if you experience difficulties or challenges, or things seem to be moving in different directions than you thought or hoped, stay positive.
Know that things are unfolding as they should, and accept that everything happens for a reason.
Even experiences that you may perceive as negative will teach you something, or steer you towards something even better, so you need to continue following the process, reassured that everything is always in your best interests and leading you towards your higher self.
Step Five: Work on being self-aware and know what your personal limiting beliefs, doubts and fears are, and where they trip you up.
Build up positive self-beliefs and prove those limiting beliefs or non-preferred beliefs wrong, because they hold you back from following your true purpose.
It’s true that often you are your own worst enemy. Support yourself by turning this around.
What about Manifestations and Affirmations?
From Bashar’s point of view, it’s not wrong to spend time writing down what you desire and repeating positive affirmations (after all, many find positive affirmations and journaling useful in defining their desires, tackling limiting beliefs and turning them into preferred beliefs).
But doing these implies that you have to ask the universe permission for abundance, or pretend to be something you’re not (“fake it til you make it” mentality), when all you have to do is align your beliefs and actions with your true purpose.
